Piano:
a. World Composers: Perform a piece from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern
repertoire, representing the diverse range of composers from around the world.
b. American Composer: Showcase a piece by any American composer from any era, celebrating
the rich musical heritage of the United States .
c. Concerto 2024: Anniversary Concerto by A. Peskanov. One movement per application,
accompanied by a second piano with omitted orchestral solos. Selected winners will have the
opportunity to perform with the orchestra at the main event. Contestants may apply for all three

d. Italian Composer: A piece by any Italian composer in any style, capturing the essence of
Italian musical heritage.
e. Ukrainian Composer: A piece by a composer born or living in Ukraine, or a piece on a
Ukrainian theme by any composer, reflecting the rich musical tradition of Ukraine.
f. Armenian Composer: Embrace the musical heritage of Armenia with a piece by an Armenian
composer, showcasing the unique cultural expressions of Armenia through music.
g. MusiCats: A piece on the theme of cats by any composer and in any style, adding a playful
and whimsical element to the piano repertoire.

Vocal:
a. Classical (NO MICROPHONE): Accompaniment options include piano, orchestra,
instrumental ensemble, a capella, featuring pieces from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or
Modern repertoire. Note: For open-air concerts in the Gardens, singers selected for performances
must use a microphone.
b. Microphone: Categories include classical cross, pop, jazz, and musical theater, using
microphones and recorded accompaniments.
c. Italian Composer: Present a piece by any Italian composer in any style, capturing the essence
of Italian musical heritage.
d. Ukrainian Composer: A piece by a composer born or living in Ukraine, or a piece on a
Ukrainian theme by any composer, reflecting the rich musical tradition of Ukraine.
e. Armenian Composer: Embrace the musical heritage of Armenia with a piece by an Armenian
composer, showcasing the unique cultural expressions of Armenia through music.
f. MusiCats: A piece on the theme of cats by any composer and in any style.
